Guide to CC and BCC in Dmail

CC (Carbon Copy):
Use this to send a copy of your email to someone in addition to the main recipient.
➤ Everyone who receives the email can see who else is CC’d.

BCC (Blind Carbon Copy):
Use this to send a copy of your email to someone without others knowing.
➤ Recipients in BCC are hidden from everyone else.

Step 1: – Open your Dmail Account
Step 2: – Click on Compose Tab as shown.

Step 3: –: Add Main Recipient
In the “To” field, type the email address of the person you want to send the email to directly.
Example: to: [email protected]

Step 4: Add CC (Carbon Copy) Recipients

  • Click on “CC” located below the “To” field.
  • Enter the email addresses of people who should receive a copy of the email.
    Example: cc: [email protected]

When to use CC:

  • When you want others to be informed but not necessarily respond.
  • Example: You email your manager and CC your HR representative for transparency.

Step 5: Add BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) Recipients

  • Click on “BCC” below the “CC” option
  • Enter the email addresses of people you want to send a hidden copy to.

Step 6:- Write your message , add a subject line and type your message in the email body

Step 7: – Review the “CC” and “BCC” once and then Click on encrypt and Send message
